Service Description

Insect bites and stings are usually not serious and often improve within a few days. However, they can sometimes become infected or trigger a serious allergic reaction. Certain insect bites may also transmit illnesses, such as Lyme disease from ticks, scabies from mites, and malaria from mosquitoes in specific regions. Symptoms of an insect bite or sting include: Pain at the bite or sting site A small, swollen lump on the skin Redness around the lump, which may be harder to see on darker skin but can usually be felt If you suspect your insect bite is infected, please book a consultation with one of our pharmacists today.
